Good afternoon gentlmen.
My full copy of Acronis True Image 2009, which I tested on a MS Windows 2003 server operating on a DELL Power Edge 2900 and was working fine, does not work properly on my home PC: after booting from a bootable DVD, when I try to use the mouse, the pointer disappears; the keyboard, instead, works; if I choose to start MS Windows XP SP 2 from my HD, the system boots perfectly, but if I wish to start ATI form the bootable DVD, the screen goes blank and the system does not give any further sign of life. I tried creating a new bootable DVD; then I thought the problem could be caused by a wireless USB keyboard and mouse, so I tried by replacing with PS/2 ones. Still no change. Then I performed both previous tests after installing the software on the system. Niet. I do not know what else to do. Please find here by a description of my HW: AMD Athlon X2 64 ASUS M2N-SLI deluxe 2 X WD 10000 rpm RAID 1 MS Windows XP Professional SP 2 Logitech EX110 wireless Mouse and Keyboard The goal is to clone the RAID 1 disks, dismatle the RAID system and restore the system upon only one, non RAID disk, IOT use the second for users' data. Any suggestion ![]()

Welcome to the forum.
Have you tried the quiet acpi=off noapic option detailed in Section II of the PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU POST thread? Is the Legacy USB option in the BIOS enabled? Have you tried using the Safe Media (Safe Mode) version of TI from the TI CD/DVD?

Hello Giulio and MudCrab,
Thank you for using Acronis True Image Giulio, please try everything that was suggested in the previous post by MudCrab. If nothing helps. let me know the license number via PM, I will provide you with an ISO file to create another Acronis Bootable CD. Thank you. -- Oleg Lee
