After updating to build 9709 I get the error: "Unable to access drive 1", which I assume is my "C" drive. Also, the program asks for credentials, i.e. username and password, which I don't recall seeing in the previous build.
I am entering my Vista username and password which it seems to accept. I inadvertantly entered the wrong password once and it gave me an error. It accepted the correct password. Here's my setup: Vista SP1, SATA 750GB C drive, backing up to a Dlink DNS-323 NAS with 2 1TB SATA drives in RAID1. Last edited by ajricaud : March 14th, 2009 at 05:37 PM. |

Hello ajricaud,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software. Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response. Yes, you are right - the program asks you to enter credentials for Windows account in order to perform scheduled backup operations. The user name should be ComputerName\UserName If you are not using any password to log into Windows then there should be no password in the credentials. Regarding drive accessing issue: please check if you can access this drive from Windows Explorer and copy\move some information from it. Please also clarify, when exactly does this message occur? Could you please provide us with the exact sequence of actions that lead to the issue you report? Detailed information about Acronis True Image Home product can be found in User's Guide. Thank you. -- Alexander Nikolsky
