this problem used to occur with nod32umc v. 2.04. Please download the latest version of NOD32 for LMS/LFS and use the newer version of nod32umc 2.05.

 

I ran an an rpm upgrade about 1 to 2 weeks ago and that didn't resolve the issue. What are your precise recommendations?

 

In the last screenshot you posted here the version read 2.04:

Version 2.05 should not be affected.

Is the same as the one I tried updating with a week or two ago using rpm update which is keeping me at 2.04.

We apologize for the confusion, by mistake an older version of nod32umc is still enclosed in the installation package. We are going to release a newer version (probably 2.06) within today or tomorrow.

 

Marcos, the nod32 update binary doesn't automatically update these files? I have to download the package each time there is a binary upgrade? Also, you'll let me know when the new version is ready?

 

This brings up an excellent question, what problems do these warnings cause precisely?

Merely would like to point to the fact that a newer version of NOD32 for LMS is already available for download. Here's an excerpt from the what's-new list:

nod32d (logging format changed)
nod32umc (possibility of obsolete modules removal)

Just an FYI, after I upgraded the RPM package, the very first time I ran nod32_update's log is here for your review:

The post above is a capture of the second time I ran the nod32_update post RPM upgrade.

 

Well, the problem was supposed to be fixed in the latest version of nod32umc. Our developers will need to look into it again - however, you can ignore the message as it only tells that other levels of the archive module were not found.

 

I checked yesterday and the warning is gone. I'll verify on it again today.

 

Just as a quick FYI, the warnings are indeed not coming back. I guess the issue is resolved on your end then.

 

It is about archs.nup file - the file is not needed anymore. You can delete it manually or if you user version 2.06 you can set it to delete it automatically. Message was only warning.
