Just updated to NOD32 Anti-virus 4 and noticed that the GUI no longer automatically loads during Windows start-up. Version 3 left a registry key that I modified but now the GUI runs hidden and there is no icon in the task tray. Any suggestions on how to correct?

Sounds like a corrupt upgrade, you should perform a clean uninstall - reinstall

I see egui.exe running using task manager. If I launch NOD32 from the desktop, the GUI appears on the task bar. If I close the GUI, it does not minimize to the tray. If I force egui.exe to close in task manager and reopen from the desktop, it minimizes to the tray correctly. I have un-installed and re-installed with no change.

Hello,
Is there an entry in the [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] registry key to launch the EGUI.EXE program file? Regards, Aryeh Goretsky
