Question new vs. old

Just one question.

If 2.0.0.5011 is still working great, does one NEED to upgrade or does the new version just add functionality

TIA

Hi 19monty64,
There have been a number of under-the-hood quality improvements in 2.0.1 that may be applicable in the future even if 2.0.0 is working well on your system now and there is no way to predict whether you would be affected.

My personal advice is to upgrade but the decision is yours...

Thumbs up Re: new vs. old

Thanx Coldmoon!
If it just functionality I wouldn't bother, but for improvements...I'll upgrade immediately!!!
Thank you very much!
Great to see Returnil @ the forum, great reason to come back...

Thanx Coldmoon!
Took your advice and all went well! Still "test-driving" the new functions, but all is going great so far. Thanx again!

I remember someone saying that a beta version will wipe a dat file that is left behind by Returnil. Is this function included in the new release? And if so, does it do this automatically?

Hi caspian,
Yes, this function is included in the release. Turn on protection or Session Lock and then open the advanced settings screen and then check the wipe option.

Thank you so much. I just tried it. I love Returnil and I am looking forward to being able to use it on my other computer (Vista 64 bit). I hope you will be able to swing that. Thanks, Caspian
