Default pcaudit test failed !

Hello,

first of all -iam not an expert-. been trying to configure my kerio 2.1.5 to protect my PC.
found gkwebs firewall leak test web page, download and guess what?

fail to pcaudit 1 & 2.

BZeus advanced ruleset loaded into kerio 2.x

no activex enable.
normal computing with less priveleges user.
using Proxomitron for Mozilla 1.6, Opera and for Free Online Virus scanner web site use IE

ADaware, Spybot, spywareguard, spywareblaster, mrublaster
NAV 2003 updated.

is there a special rule i need to add?

or maybe is a OS patches needed?

if i deny all trafic for IE when i run "tooleaky" it said "Socket error..." so i guess i failed this test when IE i allowed to connect or som component...

does anybody successfully pass pcaudit test?

well... iam worried, not so much but worried. Safe surfing and common sense have protected me much better than any firewall. Id like to find out how to finally configure my firewall.

Many thanks... 2 all of you

try here:

http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=5367;start=msg120844#msg120844

1) chck your config
2) SSM (to bolster outbound protection)

IMO, no big deal based on your common sense habits. Worth way more than the best firewall which will never be perfectly secure.

off my soapbox and back to your question.

your config may be just fine, it may be limitation of Kerio 2.1.5:

I tried most of those leaktests (including pc audit 1&2), and SSM stops all of 'em cold. Your good pc habits will prevent you from trusting an Ap which should not be trusted.

Another good sandbox type ap I hear is AP try 'em both:

PC Audit is the easiest one to block.
A simple program such as Naviscope is able to do it without even the use of a firewall.
