Don´t use it please! I did test it with Ultimate64 and this crap did desolate the system. Some programs did not want start after "cleaning". I had to use the system-restore of Ultimate to resolve the issues.

Comodo System-Cleaner - no thanks!

Thumbs up Re: Comodo System-Cleaner

Thanks for the warnings folks. I'm playing (tweekin') on the puter late at night & this is where 95% of my "oh what the heck let's try it" F'ups happen. I really do appreciate the 2 strong warnings.

Comodo continues on its established tradition of products that perform to stellar perfection on paper, yet utterly fail in practice. Imagine a system cleaner guaranteed to be 100% safe. What's the catch, you ask? Simple, all you have to do is reboot your computer after each privacy clean, disk clean, registry clean, etc.

Way to go, Comodo.

I did so. And why could some programs not start after this? Nero7, Sony Acid Studio and Mixmeister Fusion. And why can´t I do restore the changes manually? This program want to decide if the cleaning-process was succesfully.

I have seen the result. Pfffffft...

Edit: Typo.

I think Eice is being sarcastic.

I had Comodo Disc Cleaner. It ran very well for about a month. I cleaned my HD, a month passed. Cleaned it again and my HD was totally trashed. Thankfully, I had an image on my other drive and Paragon HDM restored it with the boot CD.

It took a day to get back all the programs I lost back.

I won't go near Comodo anything any more.
