I'm posting this to show how much work was still needed in this V4 of ESs.
I downloaded the Spanish version of V4 (4.0.314.0) and the same old bug of the connections view is still there.

2 pics to confirm, just to show it was not an isolated time...

oh, i mean the digital signature of the installer (xxx_enu.msi) is signed on Feb 6th,
which means no modification is made to this installer since Feb 6th,
because the signature is still valid.o_O

you can see that in the digital signature tab in file attribute dialog. (corret me if i am wrong, i dont use english xp)

just like this (the date field):

not exactly. a new installer may contain old components but what if the installation file itself is an old one.
but i think, to some degree, your discovery is another proof of my point :
the Final version is older than RC.

Yep, so no wonder this Final inherited all the major bugs found in RC.

Lets just hope ESET would push a component update to us users very soon.;)

    Hello,

I mentioned this in another message thread, but to clarify, the RC was built from older files but on a later date.

New builds of Version 4 will be made available periodically, just like they were for previous versions. I do not have any information I can share on scheduling, though.

    Regards,

    Aryeh Goretsky

I have updated to the latest build (I have a license) and the bugs are still present.
To be clear, I cannot block removable media on my PC and the SSL scanning is still buggy on opera, It seems that the certificate gets broken or something because after a period of use it stops working and I get an error trying to access secure sites.
I have made the usual support tickets but still no answer.
The refresh bug on the connections view is still present.
