Default Nod v2.7 discontinued?

This morning I notice NOD v4 is released. My installed v2.7 will not update. Is support for NOD 2.7 discontinued? v3 is a mess on my system, v4 seems to be having problems, and would like to stay with v2.7 if possible.

v2.7 support will continue into the foreseeable future. There have been no announcements nor plans to discontinue v2.7.

If it is not updating, there is another problem.

Update servers are currently down for maintenance.

Thank you for information. Server seems to be serving updates again, and singatures 3901 were delivered eventually.

As a follow up: Do v2.7 users need to worry about the issues with non-initialization and BSOD being caused by NOD? v3 and v4 seem to be wreaking havoc in This thread.

No idea, if it's working fine for you then I guess you can ignore it.

Then don't wonder that updates are slow or impossible. Leave it set to Choose automatically and it will be fine. Also I'd suggest that you upgrade to v3 or v4 which use much smaller update files and thus can update faster, especially if a larger update has been issued.

well i had set up choose automatically
but i tried to ping some servers and seems death
i guess they are overloaded

i don't like nod 3 and i tried nod4 it gaves me a blue screen crash
i had not time to investigate , so i uninstalled it

when i will not able to use nod32 2.7 , i will drop it and buy kaspersky or avira
