Hey!
I'm unable to play Quake Live from both Firefox and Inter Explorer 7. Ony their website they say you need to open: Protocol: TCP Host: gaimtheory.idsoftware.com Port: 5222 And maybe also ports 27000-27017 But the thing is my firefox.exe is set to allow everything, all ports, in/out and UDP/TCP. What do Ineed to do to get this running? Thanks! |

Hello,
Does it work with the firewall disabled? You can try adjusting your protocol filtering and running in interactive mode. To do this see the following Knowledgebase article: http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN939 Thank you, Richard |

I am running in interactive mode and still I do not get any questions about the rules.
If I disable the firewall temporarily Quake live works perfect |

I am having a similar problem trying to run a SHOUTcast server. Turning the firewall totally off or using the interactive mode allows people to connect but I keep getting too many messages from ESS about allowing stuff. Is there a way to just allow port 8080 past the firewall or just the sv_serv.exe file?
