Default Configuration Export / Import not functioning ?

Hi Guys,

I am trying to save my configuration file from ESS but with no luck in restoring it.
I have followed all guides I could find (including Blackspears) but still when i export my config file into xml from main console > import/export settings > some.xml and thereafter change my settings, Importing the saved xml configuration file doesn't change those settings back to normal... Any ideas what I am missing?

Specifically I want to disable the ballon popups that appear with every db update. I went to F5 advanced menu, scrolled to alerts&notification and checked/ticked to only show popups when user intervention is required.
My configuration file at its smallest change was that tick box, on and off.
No matter what I cant seem to restore the previous configuration.

I am using v.3.0.684 with latest updates and wistles.

Any advice much appreciated

Default Re: Configuration Export / Import not functioning ?

Hello ViralNote,

Anything under "User interface" cannot be changed via xml due to those settings being stored in HKCU rather than HKLM.

Thank you,
Richard
