Backup and restore File association

    Is there any program that would backup and restore file assocation in a single click,since i am using a lot of Portable apps.

    Go see Doug Knox. Add your "a" keyword when running the search.

    Specific's are ;) the responsibility of the one asking. Seeing how you didn't mention speed, I'd use ERUNT for non-defaults.

    The File Association editor cannot backup and restore associaition though it can be used to edit them.

    If these apps are supposedly portable, do you know where association changes take place?

    The associations take place in the registry.

    You mean .... :'( "NO TinyApps green_award.gif award?" Portable doesn't sound like a diet if they're raid'in the fridge @ night ....

    Cannot say some work some dont , Portable does not have to portable in truest sense:).Certain portable work very well ,they use association that can be undone.

    Yes this software is pretty much useful for a Windows user:)
