As the title indicates. And if the answer is yes, does it possibly conflict a pre-built OEM system that comes in with a hidden system recovery partition? Thank you in advance.

RVS locks access to the MBR and this may or may not cause an issue with software that must write to the MBR. As this is not a frequent activity (usually), there most likely will not be any problems.

You should however experiment/test to make sure...

Following up along those lines, is Returnil compatible with Truecrypt encrypted operating system volumes? Because Truecrypt writes it's own bootloader to the MBR (Returnil must be deactivated, of course when installing), there's no subsequent conflict since Returnil simply locks access, right?
    Thanks

This is correct. To date, we have not recieved any incomaptibility reports between the two. An interesting, but undocumented feature in RVS is that you can create a configuration that will allow you to save changes to your TC volume when RVS protection is on and you do not use the RVS Virtual Partition.

    1) Make sure that auto-mounting of the RVS Virtual Partition is deactivated
    2) Save your TC volume as C:\Returnil\RVSYSTEM.img

Now when you add content to the TC volume (mount and edit within TrueCrypt), the changes you make will not be lost at restart of your computer... ;)
