Default SFC /SCANNOW issue

When I run sfc /scannow, I get a popup saying "insert your xp sp3 cd."
The problem is I don't have sp3 cd. Does anyone know how to fix this?
By the way, I don't have xp cd. Instead, I have recovery cd.

Your box start as XPSP2 (yes), SP3 installed as an update (yes)?

That's the problem then. To get it right me think's you'd have to first remove SP3, then reinstall "integrated" for file checker to work.
