Default BOClean is very unstable!!!

BOClean may just be the most incompatible, unstable, unusable progam I have ever used. Up to version 4.22, it worked fine. 4.27 just will not work on any of my compuers. Am I the only one here with this problem? I've had lock ups, "BOClean not responding" errors, frozen screens and the list goes on. I had to remove it completely. Oh well, maybe it is just me.

I had 2 issues:
1)I couldn't exclude programs. I excuded them, but BOClean was ignoring the exclude list for some reason.
2)It turned green after 2 weeks of use and had to uninstall.

This was with version 4.27.

I've been using it since Comodo got involved and haven't had any problems whatsoever (on XP Home SP 2). The only way that I can tell that it's working is the regular blinking of the icon and the daily update.

It has never alerted me to any problems though, which means either (a) that I am a very safe surfer (no file sharing, social sites etc.), or (b) I have some important setting turned off by mistake!

PS. The other possibility of course is that NOD32 or the Comodo Pro firewall are catching anything there is to catch!

Hi Barney,

It would help if you mention on which Windows version it has been installed, and to give other more detailed info.

Probably the best thing:
Post a question, with as much details as possible, on the Comodo BOClean forum.

Ditto here. I've been using it since the NSClean days. Without any additional info from the OP, I'm not inclined to change my opinion of BOClean.

Hello

Yes I have probably used BoClean as long if not longer then most here. I have never seen problem.
For those of you that have never seen BoClean work, just download Combofix and run it while BoClean is active. It will be tagged as riskware because Combofix uses nircmd.

I have been using BOClean since back in 2001 and never had any problems until after 4.22. For some reason, ever since Comodo took over, it just doesn't want to work on my system. Some piece of software obvious doesn't agree with it. Oh well, with each release, I will give it another try hoping it works.
