    Hi all,

This is the second of the three articles dedicated to configuring and using 3D virtualization in virtual machines.

This tutorial will teach how to enable 3D acceleration for OpenGL applications (and games) for Windows virtual machines running in VirtualBox installed on either a Windows or a Linux host.

    Here you go:

To learn more about how to run 3D applications and games on VMware with DirectX in Windows guests, please read the first installment of the series:

Comments and suggestions are most welcome.

Mrk, I agree that 3D works very well for a Windows guest on a Linux host and the performance is good.

However, since you wrote: "In the third article, we'll attempt to introduce 3D acceleration into the Linux guests." I'm curious what you'll find out. According to a Sun developer 3D acceleration for Linux guest doesn't work right now.

    Well, it's coming tomorrow, so ... :)
The article will surprise you, whether it works or not.
