The link doesn't work. I copied and pasted it into my address bar and was bounced to MSN. I then tried just the IP address and was bounced to Google. I found pcwelt but no translation. The article is too big for Babel Fish.
Every European language has Latin roots so I got the basic gist. Looks good! ![]()

PC-Welt well respected? I do not think so. This magazin is not worse the paper it is printed on. The test is done BTW by av-test.org. I do not see any improvements made in this version of NAV compared to the last results I read from av-test.org. Or have I overlooked something?
NAV still cannot handle runtime packers and therefore it is completly useless in detecting trojans (or other malware that will be packed to create new variants). wizard

PC Welt is much more realistic then PC World or PC Magazine! There are 6 pages to read about Norton AV 2003 and some issues are well addressed.
To Prince_Serendip : Copy/Paste working here! Try use http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en to translate this article. Technodrome

Thanks Technodrome! The link worked beautifully. Sure is different reading German as English! The syntax is all weird but understandable. Some words are not translated but can be ascertained from the context. (Every language contains some words which can not be translated directly.) I hope that the password NAV 2003 has, is at least encrypted. It would be even better if each copy of the program used a distinctively different code for the encryptions, with the keys registered with Norton. This would make tampering much more difficult. What do you think?

I agree Norton is not as good at detecting "trojans" and is always behind in adding them but I still think it is the best antivirus.
Now we got the Wizard all rialed up again.. I am thinking the password is to help stop trojans from disabling Norton. |
