Default can't access any websites (in any browser) when firewall is on

I have NOD32 Eset Security Suite installed, and whenever I have the firewall enabled and try to use a web browser (any web browser), I get the page not found error. I have to right-click the icon on the taskbar and click "Do not filter network traffic", which of course disables the firewall.

Anyone have any ideas as to how I could fix this problem?

Hello unity311unity,

List your operating system and any current or past security programs. Is this an ESET trial program you are using?

I am running Windows 2000 Professional after a fresh format. And yes, it is the trial version, which means I can only use it for 30 days, but it is still the complete suite.

I would try the beta version and select the learning mode for the firewall. You will have to uninstall the version you are using. http://www.eset.eu/press/public-beta...us-4-available
