Since October 29th. I've been notified 11 times about Avira's engine updates. What's happening? Why so many updates, and what would be the reason in relation to signatures updates? (I think it is positive, I'd like to know out of curiosity).

I've got the same stuff sent with the notifications. It doesn't look any different from signatures updates, why call it engine update?

Engine updates are actually generic malware signature updates plus fixing of false positives. |
