Some website form fill- ins for email or search requests show "foreign" alphabet characters instead of the English language. The sites are cnet.com and zdnet .com among some others. I am using Win95b and I.E.5.5SP2. I have a screenshot, but I don't know how to insert it into this forum or whether it would be welcome. Thanks for your help.
Best regards, R.Q. |

Did you try Encoding from the VIEW option in IE ? You should set it to Auto Select or Western European(windows)

Dear Technodrome,
Thanks you were right on the money. I had to download "autoselect" via "download on demand".This only occurred since my update to I.E.5.5SP2. All is well now. Thanks again. Best Regards R.Q. |
