I have around 600 clients. About 20 of them refuse to update anymore, as of today. The even log has "The program modules have been updated" then an hour later "Undocumented serious error (0x%04x)"

    Something going on, eSet?

I am also getting the 'Virus signature database update failed' after getting a message that my 'program modules have been updated'

Well yeah that fixed it but someone should investigate the cause of this problem and fix that as well since rebooting e.g. servers is not exactly convenient and generally feasible. o_O

I would like to cross-link this thread with this one:

    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=226944

as they are closely related, IMO.

A focus on this issue should be: Why are we forced to reboot affected systems so often, increasing calls to support from users, and making micro-management of this issue a necessity?

Thank you to any feedback from any "in the know" on this issue...
