nod32 version 3.0.672 updating...

I just realised that my version number was older than what is currently available for downloading, is it not possible to have the software detect this and issue a message or warning or even automatically download it?

Also when the update was downloaded and installed to version 3.0.672 the update page says "update not necessary...." when in fact it does require updating as I discovered as five updates came in, again no warning advising me that after updating I should check if there is any further updates.
