Just to clear up any confusion, it is Thunderbird 3, not 4, and it is in alpha state. Since ESET is in beta state, I don't think it would be a good idea to add it until TB itself reached beta. Then again, I didn't read up on how much has changed in TB3, I'm just assuming a big code base change.

I think it doesn't work with Tb3 yet.
They need to wait until featuere freeze when interfaces will be frozen for version 3. Mozilla has changed more then a half of unfrozen interfaces. They are changing gecko from 1.8 to 1.9.1which is big change for native extensions. It affects all extensions. Take a look at schedule https://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird...bird3:Schedule PJ. |

Absolutely no point in wasting time on this until TB3 gets stabilized at least as in feature freezed... Alpha versions are for developers only and absolutely unsuitable for users.
