Exclamation Many Notifications

When i download a single EICAR test file a caution notification displays over 5 times sometimes even 15 times. Then i open ESS and it says: 5 (to 15) blocked attacks. I only downloaded one EICAR file. Why is that happening? Plz help.
Its also happening if i try do download a real virus.

My System information:

OS: Windows XP Home Edition SP2
RAM: 1024 MB
Harddisc: 250 GB
Graficcard: 128 MB

It depends on how many times your browser attempts to download a file if the connection is interrupted (ie. because the web protection module blocks it).

It would be a good thing if you'll implement some sort of anti-flood.

Sounds more like a problem with your browser to be honest, it shouldn't keep trying to download the file if ESET (or another program) stops it. I've never had this problem with Fx3, 3.1dev or Chrome.

Maybe you don't but I have the same problem with FF3 and Opera 9.62. Maybe this depends on web module settings.
