Default Unable to add Exclusions via xml

Track It Help Desk Software installs a service, Track-It! Workstation Manager Service Monitor.
NOD32 v.3.0.667.0 finds the executable being a virus (false positive).
I added to the xml configuration file Exclusions TIServiceMonitor.exe but neither Importing Settings nor creating a Task to Update Remote Computers Configuration I am able to make TIServiceMonitor.exe appear on the computers configuration Setup.
Am I misunderstanding something regarding updating Client's configuration?

Thanks in advance!

Hi NOD32 user

Thanks for your reply, I will give version 3.0.26 beta a try and post here the result.

Did you have the same problem than me (not changing Exclusion in the Clients) with previous version 2.0.110?

Cheers

I installed v.3 Server version and the new Console.

Exclusions I configure in the xml file still do not appear in the Clients, either I "send" configuration via Server Task or importing the xml

And, Marcos, my problem is not the executable file I want to add and send to all Clients. My problem is ESET RA not doing what it is supposed to do.

Regards.,

Hello,

NumaraSoftware's web site seems to be down so I cannot download a copy of the Track It Help Desk Software.

Can you email a copy of the TISERVICEMONITOR.EXE file in an archive file protected with a password of "infected" to samples@eset.sk with a Subject: of Probable False Positive Alarm and a link to this message thread?

That will ensure that ESET's virus lab promptly processes the submission.

Regards,

Aryeh Goretsky

My problem is not this particular file. All I need is to be able to add an exclusion (e.g. Anton_Zakov.exe) to my Settings_whatever.xml file, and that the configuration can be "sent" to the Client's AV settings. Now I cannot do it, even Importing Settings! Please...

All set now. With pathless filenames and wildcards it just doesn't work.
