Unable to update

    A friend is unable to update. I am trying to help her online.

    She has uninstalled and installed several times, but still gets this problem....

    She installs SpywareBlaster, and then checks for updates.
    The available update files appear, and she hits d/load updates.
    The d/load bar get maybe 3/4 of the way across, and then she gets the message, ' Cannot write files to disk, time request expired.'
    She tries again, and gets a message, 'files are corrupted, do you want to d/load updates.'
    There doesn't appear to be any problem with her connection as far as other things go.
    Anyone got any suggestions?
