EDIT:
@all
I suggested Holle to ask in English

If you disconnect the eSATA drive, does OSS start correctly? Do the operating systems start correctly (no errors)?

Check the BIOS and make sure that when you connect the eSATA drive the BIOS isn't setting it as the booting drive. Some will automatically change the booting drive to the newly connected drive and that can cause problems.

MudCrab,
I'm wondering whether you or I can better understand German language

EDIT:
You have understood Holle's question correctly.

MrMorse,

I enjoy languages, but am better at Spanish and French than German. My Dad knew some German so I've heard it a little.

I generally run it through a translator, read between the lines and take a guess.
