Nod32 update not functioning

I just downloaded and installed ESET NOD32 Antivirus and want to update the database.
But it says: "update is not nesessary - the virus signature database is current".
But the version of the database is 3231 (20080701).
According to the website from Eset is the current version 3470 (20080925)
Why does the auto update not functioning?

The installed components:

Virus signature database: 3231 (20080701)
Update module: 1024 (20080514)
Antivirus and antispyware scanner module: 1126 (20080627)
Advanced heuristics module: 1071 (20080509)
Archive support module: 1079 (20080509)
Cleaner module: 1031 (20080630)
Anti-Stealth support module: 1001 (20080616)

OS = WinXP SP2

The current update is 3471.Just for the heck of it try a reboot then try again.You may need to uninstall and install a fresh copy again it may be a corrupted download.
