Default AV + DEP "AlwaysOn"

I recently changed my DEP from "OptOut" to "AlwaysOn" and besides some minor glitches with some applications that I´ve resolved, there´s one problem: my dear Avast has some problems that can´t be fixed . Its resident scanner (read & write) works perfectly, and also the on-demand, but if I e.g. want to check a file from the explorer menu, then DEP will terminate Avast. Therefore I´m now looking after a possible replacement and was wondering if someone knows of a free, AV scanner (with resident scanning) that fully works with DEP "AlwaysOn".

Thanks in advance folks!

/C.

If i remember correctly, it was Avast's splash screen. Not sure. I never tried from the context menu.
Antivir works ok i believe.

AntiVir works fine with DEP always on. Some Active X might have issues but overall all my programs work with DEP on.
