I have been trialling this for a few days now and it performs flawlessly.
Uses very little resources as well.

Some people say the same thing about PCs in general.....

I'd say it's more of a want than a need.....

Simple, lots of people, myself included, often work with many programs and windows open. So, instead of having a ton of tabs at the bottom, we have a few extra desktops to click on. Trust me, it can be a blessing.

I need it, I use ancient SONY and a new AOC CRT, the SONY is 19" and AOC is 17", I need space on my screen and therefore this program is perfect. Ubuntu already comes preinstalled with one and I have always liked it, now with Dexpot, Windows has it as well.
