Question NewHeur virus damage

We had an influx of the Newheur_pe virus which Nod32 picked up and deleted but not before damage was done - the virus removed all the
start - all programs - everything is gone except a few links
Is there a way to fix this without reinstalling XP?

Default Re: NewHeur virus damage

Hello,

you can create these links once again, when you go to:

Code:
C:\Documents and Settings\All users\Start Menu\Programs

Create subfolders with links on apps, there.

Regards
