I am a registered user of TI using build 8053.
If I go up on Acronis and look under TI Home and go to updates I can see the items that I presently have. HOWEVER there is no mention of Build 8101. Is this a legitiment update. According to this forum it is. ?? |

I finally managed to find the download for TI 8101
on the Acronis website. It wasn't easy but I found it. It's more of a challange when it's made difficult. HOWEVER the next snag came when it requested the old serial # (which I have) and the Serial # for 8101 (Which I have no idea where it is!!!!) Therefor I can't install TI 8101. What to do!!!!!!! |

Serial numbers relate to the version rather than the build number, so if you are being asked for a serial # for 8101 it will be the same as 8053.

No, the TI program is asking for a previous Version
#. Fortunately I still had it OR I would not have been able to do an update from 8053 to 8101. |

I'm confused. New builds are free to registered customers for that particular version. You were supplied with a serial number for your version 11 purchase. This entitled you to a free download of any and all builds of v11.
If you upgraded from version 10 to 11, you would need your both 10 and 11 serial numbers when installing 8101. If you had originally upgraded from 9 to 10, you might need your version 9 & 10 & 11 serial numbers when installing 8101. Did you purchase two different versions of V11?

Hi GroverH,
I'll try to explain again but it is now working. First I uninstalled TI 8053. Then I tried to install TI 8101. This is when it wanted my previous Serial #. I put it in and everything was OK. Possibly I should not have uninstalled TI 8053. I did not purchase 2 different versions of TI 11.0 I'm confused..... Thanks for helping. |
