Default Marking threads as "favorites"?

I couldn't find any direct answer to this in the FAQ (other than possibly using subscribe) so here goes:

Is there a way to mark threads (or even just an individual posting) as a "favorite" and then be able to view a list of these favorites at some later time, for quick reference?

With all the gems and gold dust discovered in the various forums it's difficult to organize them as IE favorites and searching becomes tedious.

Maybe you could try "suscribe to this thread". Not exactly what you're looking for, but could help.

One alternative is to create a Favorites folder and\or other folders in the User CP\Subscribed thread section. Add to those folders when the need arises.

Aha, thank you both. Bubba, the folders looks like a viable solution, I hadn't looked beyond the subscribe itself. I appreciate the extra work in the screencaptures, too.
