Default Noob question

Hi

First week using Acronis, am a Ghost fan to be honest

Problem: When booting from a Acronis boot CD Rom, I select recovery from the menu and attempt to navigate to the Network share that has the required image. Only the DC is visible in the list and the image file is held on a member server, i am also not able to put in backslashes in the file name box, by clicking on DC in the list it puts \\server name\ in the file name box, this then allows me to change the server name to the required name. Once i have type the server name i am prompted for a user name and password, i then have to put in "server name\username". This then allows me to find the required image

Has anyone ever had this issue

Thanks in advance

Default Creating an image

Hi

Problem: Closed an image with Sysprep, then booted using Acronis boot CD Rom, chose backup followed my nose with all the options, selecting location is a bit strange (see previous thread - Noob question) i click on the only available server in the list which is the DC, all member server are invisible, i then replace the server name with the required name, prompts for username and password, which i put in the domain admin password, when i get to the end and click proceed it tells me i dont have the privelages to do it - very bizzare

Has anyone ever had this issue

Thanks in advance

Hello efc_genius,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for delayed response.

Could you please clarify, what operating system is on the problem server?

Thank you.
