Exclamation Agintas Warnings When access Root Drive

Yesterday I installed something on my computer and even thought it was from and untrusted website I installed it because I ran Norton Antivirus 2008 more than 3 times on it and no virus was detected. After installing it to my surprise there it was a virus. This virus didn't harm any of my files but every time I access my C drive there a windows alert came up warning me about some sort of virus and that I needed to download something to delete it.

after spending almost 2 hours in my computer trying to get rid of it I was successful. Here are the steps in case you happen to experience the same issue:

1. run cmd.exe
2. Go to your process and stop explorer.exe
3. remove agintas.dll from system32 folder using CMD (c:\windows\system32\agintas.dll)
4. All Done!
