Since i got the smart security, most of the time it is displyed in red at the bottom of the screen. This means that it is not updated. Obviously i tried to update it but every time i do so, it never changes that red color, and keep saying that maximun protection is not ensured....

what can i do?

there was one time that it changed the colo, it turned blue, and the system was well, but just a few weeks ago it returned tu red again and it wont update...i need help!

Hello!

Please , reinstall the program

1. Download fresh new version of ESET Smart Security from
http://www.eset.com/download . Make sure that you choose the correct version.

2. Uninstall your current version from Control Panel
3. Reboot the computer when prompted
4. Delete manually these folders:

for XP:
- C:\Program files\ESET
- C:\Documents and Settings\All users\Application data\Eset
- C:\Documents and Settings\~username~\Local Settings\Application data\Eset

for Vista:
- C:\Program files\ESET
- C:\Program data\Eset
- C:\Users\~username~\AppData\Local\Eset

5. Reinstall your ESET software using the file you downloaded in step1 . Use typical install.
