Default eicar test file

i downloaded some eicar test file to test my nod 32 AV. eventually nod 32 does not detect it as a virus. its updated ok.. in its log its says error on oppening file.. and thats the test file.. what seems to be the problem??

Do you have nod in automatic healing mode? If so it will do it all automatically. If you try it with no automatic healing you should see the pop up and see it at work.
Give it a whirl and let us know

Chances are the HTTP scanner has blocked the download of the file and u cannot save it to disk because the Web scanner has already blocked it.

then how come the virus test file is still there, in my desktop i actually downloaded it there...yes, it is in automatic healing mode. i actually saw 1 of the files in quarantine. anyway is it deleted? even though i can see the test file icon??
