Default Kaspersky thinks Spyware Blaster is an Invader

So I have kaspersky and whenever I run spyware blaster it goes apeshit.

detected: riskware Invader
Running process: C:\Program Files\SpywareBlaster\spywareblaster.exe

It says it attempts to add something to some file, but i always deny it.

Any idea what that is?

Have you posted or checked for references to this problem on the Official Kaspersky forum? Other uses may be experiencing the same result.

Hi,

I recall this is the case with the newest versions of spywareblaster.

You can add spywareblaster to Kaspersky's trusted zone in order to stop such alerts from reoccuring, it is safe to do so.

Some more information on invader alerts can be found here:
http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php...dpost&p=378800

P.s. such alerts should no longer occur with the soon to be released 2009 version of Kaspersky products, which incorporate an extensive whitelist of known "safe" applications.
