Default Update problems

I hope I'm at the right place for help, if I'm not then just ignore me!

I've recently had to have my hard drive formatted, since then spywarewareblaster puts the updates on the desktop, not in it's own own in 'programs'. If I transfer them to the folder it wants to download them again, have I installed the program wrongly or something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the spywareblaster.exe may be on your desktop.

Is there a spywareblaster.exe in the SpywareBlaster folder? If so, could you try double-clicking on that file and running the updater to see if it still puts the updates on the desktop?

Thanks,

Thank you for the advice, from that I realised that instead of putting a short cut on the desktop I'd put the .exe on it instead! After removing and reinstalling the program and putting a shortcut on the desktop everything now works fine.

Thank you for your help.
