Anyone aware of an application or hack that will enable access to iGoogle from gmail?

After I cleaning my cache, which I usually do daily, I need to enter the iGoogle username and password the next time I go there. Using Firefox gmail notifier I can always access gmail without entering u & p, so I would think since I'm already logged in to Google, I could automatically log in from gmail. Since you can do so many things in/with gmail, seems odd I can't find a way to do that. Thank You!
