I do not believe it does.

Pop peeper isn't exactly a full fledged email client.

It is an email notifier with the ability to send mail also.

It has an excellent support forum and is nice for having all your different accounts in one place.

Jeff the developer, is very active on the forum and even sends private emails if need be.

Perhaps the OP needs more than PP is capable of, I just thought I would mention it because it is a great little app.

If you are looking for a simple checker then, in my opinion, nothing can beat Mail Monitor. It is a True Launch Bar Plugin. It's great and does everything you could want. As you a lightweight client, I've always been fond of Kaufman Mail Warrior. It is old and no longer in developement but it is very very good. You can get the newest version here. You might also want to check out si.Mail. It is newer, still in developement, and is based off of Mail Warrior. You can find it here.
