Installing some programs

When I try to install some programs I am getting "error writng temporary file. Make sure your temp folder is valid." This is on a vista system. This problem just started to appear.

Make sure it's empty. If you can't write to it, tmp must have lost it's permission's.
Either run the installer as Administrator or grab yourself a copy of takeown.zip.
