Hi,
I have installed NOD32 for File Servers (debian package) on a Debian Etch box. I am using it as a LAN update server (mirror). When I run the update (from the web interace, or from the command line I get): Code:
The problem is that I ran this five minutes ago (current version of the Virus signature database is 2953 (20080317) not 2932). If I delete manually my mirror folder: "rm /var/lib/esets/mirror/*" and run update again, everything works fine: Code:
and I get version 2953. What am I doing wrong? I could run a cron job that deletes the mirror folder to force the update every X hours, but that is not the way it should be done, or is it? Thank you for your time... |

One more thing, I don't have a proxy. The box is in a local network behind NAT. Windows LAN update server works like a charm from within the same network. I am just in the process of migrating all services to linux...
