Well, I noticed Nod32 v1 caught this trojan that got into my pc. I just installed v2 so let's see =]

Honestly, I think a good anti-trojan is worth it no matter which AV you use. From a file scanning prospective AV's are pretty good at catching the most common trojans, the real fun is when one is actually installed. I recommend TDS-3 (a free trial is available), Trojan Hunter (a free trial is available), or BOClean (no trial, but an excellent money back guarantee). I personally use BOClean and find it an excellent companion to NOD32 as its extremely easy to use and easy on the resources. I'm sure if you check out the "TDS-3" or "other anti-trojan" forums you can find much more information.

Hi,
If you practice a safe computer mode, it isn't necessary, however if you want a very safe computer, use a anti-trojan.

In case of security a doble or triple layer is -IMHO - always recomendable. A decent firewall LnS (- kerio 2.15 is free) - a good av - NOD32 - and a good Antitrojan -BOclean or Trojanhunter - is making you safer in a wild computerworld.

Each programm is built to work in its area at the best, so ....

...at least not in this NOD32 Support Forum - that's for NOD32 issues only. Feel free to post on the TDS Forum in regard to TDS issues

regards.
