Default Consolidation DOES NOT RUN when scheduled

Quotas are set. So if at 2pm, I schedule "Daily" consolidation at 5am, and that night my scheduled backups occur, the consolidation program does not appear to run. I come in to work at 7am, check, it did not run and consolidate.

If I then set the consolidation for, say 7:15am, it runs and consolidates.

So the big Million $$$ question is "WHY DOES CONSOLIDATION NOT RUN THE NEXT MORNING WHEN IT IS SUPPOSED TO?"

Is there a command line to run consolidation? I could create a batch file and task it to run.

BTW, using Echo version 9.5.8039

Default Re: Consolidation DOES NOT RUN when scheduled

Hello Sugaree,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Corporate Disk Backup Software.

Please make sure the computer isn't in hibernation mode at the scheduled time. Acronis scheduler does not support waking a computer from hibernation.

If that is not the case, please do the following:

- Download and run schedmgr.exe application;
- Issue the following commands:

service stop
service uninstall

- Close schedmgr;
- Replace schedhlp.exe and schedul2.exe files in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\Schedule2 folder with the files from this ZIP archive.
- Run schedmgr application once again;
- Issue the following commands:

service install
service start

- Close schedmgr;

If the issue persists, please collect some information to let us investigate it thoroughly:

Please create Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Please collect the application log of the operation:
- run the program;
- select Show log on the toolbar or from the Tools menu;
- select the corresponding log;
- click "Save the log entry to file" (the diskette icon).

Please also collect the following logs:
- Open the command prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd);
- Run the following command in the folder the schedmgr.exe file was saved to:

schedmgr get report > schedreport.txt

- Collect schedreport.txt;
- Run Acronis Schedule Manager program (schedmgr.exe) once more;
- Issue the following command:

set logflags support

- Schedule the task once again;
- Wait until the scheduled task fails;
- Collect the log file schedul2.log that is placed in the \Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\Schedule2 folder;

Please also clarify, does the consolidation task run next day if you leave it scheduled at 7.15am?

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

Thank you.
