Default ESS is the best thin I've ever used

Well, apart from Fine Print.

...I believe he meant the Fine Print software available from http://www.fineprint.com/

And I'd second him that FinePrint is very well worth having!

My post was just meant to 'even the score' after reading the similarly titled one 'ESS is the worst thin I've ever used'.

I get annoyed when I read posts with meaningless titles.

As an aside, it took a while to decide whether I mentioned Fine Print or IrfanView!

I have ESS on two of my systems and it runs without issue on both of them. I adjust the settings the way I like and off I go and never have to fiddle with it again. I do occasional different online AV scans and they always come up clean so no worries yet.

ever since getting a tip from a fellow techie about nod32, i've been very happy. ESS is just another step in the right direction (except for small bugs, but hey, it's new *shrugs*)
