And I'd second him that FinePrint is very well worth having! |

My post was just meant to 'even the score' after reading the similarly titled one 'ESS is the worst thin I've ever used'.
I get annoyed when I read posts with meaningless titles. As an aside, it took a while to decide whether I mentioned Fine Print or IrfanView!

I have ESS on two of my systems and it runs without issue on both of them. I adjust the settings the way I like and off I go and never have to fiddle with it again. I do occasional different online AV scans and they always come up clean so no worries yet.

ever since getting a tip from a fellow techie about nod32, i've been very happy. ESS is just another step in the right direction (except for small bugs, but hey, it's new *shrugs*)
