Worried about AVG Anti-rootkit Free

Hi,

The free AVG Anti-rootkit version 1.1.0.42 is almost one year old.

Isn't one year between updates way too long?

With rootkit technologies and tactics changing by the day, is AVG Anti-rootkit effective anymore, after one year without updates?

Does anyone know when will AVG come out with a new version?

yea, i noticed the same thing...i dont have too much faith in the ARK from most of the AV companies...looks like GMER may be the one to use right now
