Default Rollback RX + WDE?

Has anyone here used Rollback RX with Whole Disk Encryption such as SecurStar DriveCrypt, PGP WDE, Jetico BestCrypt Volume Encryption or the like?

If the WDE initiates before Rollback RX does then it can work

Try it for me?

Not that I need or want WDE but I decided to try this out anyway .

I tried out Drivecrypt firstly with Rollback already installed. This failed in the end as in the encryption process there must be something written all over the disk and, eventually, the drive just filled up completely.

So, plan B was to install Drivecrypt and then RB afterwards. The DC install went ok and the disk was encrypted. The problem came when trying to install RB as DC obviously has its own low level drivers and these weren't going to let RB anywhere near the MBR...I guess for obvious reasons. So, RB couldn't install and so, at least as far as DC and RB are concerned, these are not going to co-exist. I would be surprised if any other WDE software would behave much differently.

Rollback RX = Volume upper filter driver (sector redirector)
WDE = Volume upper filter driver(sector encrypt)

Sooner or later these two classes of software will work with each other, just a matter of time
