Just wondered, does anyone else *not* have the right click menu on the nod icon in the systray, or am I alone in this?

(Using version 3.0.621, tried removing and installing twice, no luck.)

For those posting that they are missing the right-click menus, which are supposed to be there, it might help if you can mention anything special about your PC configurations or installed softwares. It'd be nice to see if there is a common factor that causes the suppressing of those menus on some systems.

There are a few others who've posted in different threads. We'll just need some patience while waiting for those effected to find this thread and hopefully add their information. The more information, the more chance of ESET being able to figure out why some aren't getting the menus.

We have probably found a reason why this is happening. We'll investigate it more deeply and fix it in the next version.

    Hi @all

Not sure if this thread should be continued (ESET is aware of the problem) but same issue here with version 3.0.621 (even with previous versions).

Running xp home 32bit, a-squared, comodo and nvidia as well. Latest updates installed, no betas.

Wish you all a merry christmas :)

Same problem with 2 PCs with all builds of Nod32 v3.

Windows Vista Home premium (32-bits) and Windows Vista Ultimate (32-bits). Windows Firewall + Spybot S&D + WindowBlinds 6 (Object Desktop).

Same problem, but if I disable/uncheck the "Auto-hide the taskbar" setting from the Windows Start Menu options, the right-click NOD32 system tray menu works. If I re-enable the "auto-hide the taskbar" Start Menu option, the right-click menu disappears/does not work.

    Vista32 Business, Spysweeper 5.5, NOD32 3.0.621.0, ATI Catalyst 7.12

Hey, do we have a winner here? Confirmed this behavior with v3.0.621.0 on three different installs....XP Pro, Home, and MCE 2k5.

No restart required here. If I enable "Auto-hide the taskbar" then going down to the systray, and trying to open the right-click menu results in nothing showing. Unchecking that option so that the taskbar is always at the bottom of the screen, and the right-click menu works normally.
