In the meantime File Hippo update checker is performing well

Well today its working perfectly-checked 204 apps within minutes and then allows individual updates .

    Worth checking out.

My preference of the updaters-thanks Markymoo

    Hello.

I played with UpdateStar recently, and Secunia's PSI a bit. I also took a look at filehippo's thing, but I like SUMo better. It occasionaly gives me some "server error" message, but after a few atempts eventually works. I'm keeping an eye on this one. Thanks markymoo :)

    Cheers,

Worth checking out if you hate running around on different websites trying to see if your software and drivers has been updated.

Drivers support is planned to be added soon, in order to go beyond other update checkers ;-)

Maybe ATI something... If you display device manufacturer also installs an application (Control Panel,...) this one will ALREADY be supported by SUMo. And as such application will be updated along with drivers.....

It recognized my programs and show some with updates available but none would update. Instead, I got a screen on every one of them promoting the purchase of some registry program. Uninstalled it quickly.

Especially like the simple efficient layout and when you add support for driver updates,it will be a complete package!

I downloaded it and ran it and it told me that a lot of updates are available, but when I right clicked on each of them and asked to update I get a message in French - violation of something or other - on all of them. Do I need to open up all the individual softwares in order to update them directly?
